THIS™ Ready Meals Development
In Summer 2022, I developed the first range of three Plant Based Ready Meals for THIS for September launch into TESCO.
THIS has the mission to force animals into retirement. Their extensive range of meat alternative products, which are aimed at meat lovers, are high in protein and fibre, contain no antibiotics or nitrates and uses packaging with minimal plastic.
THIS was founded three years ago in 2019 by Andy Shovel and Pete Sharman and has grown to a projected forecast of £20m in 2022.
Ready Meals is an important new category for THIS to be able to showcase their products in convenient complete Plant Based meals with innovation, great taste and vibrant colour.

Fragrant rice with Plant Based chicken in an indulgent Thai coconut green curry sauce with aubergines and green beans.
Marks & Spencer Fish Product Development
In 2015 I developed a range of four fish products and re-developed a range of 17 chilled sauces for M&S which launched in October. The Salmon Joint was featured in the M&S Autumn TV commercial, Adventures in Autumn and the Blackstick Blue Cheese Sauce won the Q Award for Chilled Sauces.
